Buying or selling a business in Dorset?
After achieving a Business Studies qualification Simon moved to London in the early eighties and joined an accountancy practice. After two years he moved to Bristol where he joined a leading independent firm of accountants and qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA), spending time at various branch offices dealing with a wide variety of clients in the dynamic times of the 1980s.
The Chartered Institute of Tax qualification followed (ATII) and then a career and family move to Dorset in 1990 to join another accountancy practice where he became a partner in 1993, eventually setting up his own accountancy practice in 2007.
Simon has had a wide experience of advising owner-managed businesses and over the years has assisted with many both business sales and acquisitions. Being a small business owner himself puts him in an ideal position to understand the issues of owning and running a small business.
Wanting to put his acquired skills and experience to good use he joined Business Partnership as the regional partner for Dorset. His aim is to help clients achieve a smooth and satisfactory business sale, ensuring that the process is dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
When not working Simon enjoys social tennis and an active involvement in the local music scene.
