After leaving school in 1981, Greg worked in a variety of roles within the retail bicycle industry, starting off as a mechanic in a major Sheffield retail cycle store and progressing through the ranks to become General Manager overseeing a chain of stores in the early 90s. After this, Greg moved into property management with Norwich Union as Manager of their Sheffield Property Services Department, responsible for all NU buildings in Yorkshire. Following this Greg held a number of Sales and Accounts Manager positions for a number of companies such as Tracker Vehicle Theft Recovery Systems, Cardale Garage Doors and Garador Garage Doors.

 

With redundancy looming in Summer 2000, Greg decided to become his own boss, and became part of The Business Partnership network in October of that year. Joined in the business by wife Beverley, fresh from her position as Administration Director of a Sales and Installations company in late 2002, the pair have developed a thriving Business Transfers Agency with many businesses successfully sold throughout South Yorkshire and the North Midlands.
