Mike Anderson-Brown, Regional Partner
 
Mike is a seasoned business professional with 30 years experience covering a very wide variety of businesses, including at board level in both SME and large international corporate environments.

His first job was managing a Pick-Your-Own fruit farm and farm shop in the Waveney Valley before attending the University of Nottingham where he gained a BSc. Hons. Degree in Agriculture.

After 5 years selling in the agricultural supply industry a career change in the late 1980’s saw him working for Philips Scientific in Cambridge.

For the next 10 years Mike worked in this rapidly changing high tech environment and developed extensive product marketing and project management skills in scientific and test instrumentation, software development and international marketing.

Elevated to board level in the late 1990’s he worked across the globe and was involved in a number of venture capital backed acquisition projects as well as setting up a joint venture in China.

Recently, as Managing Director of a Cambridge based high tech test and measurement company, Mike was instrumental in its multi million pound sale to a major American multinational.

Mike’s roots are in East Anglia and after looking for further opportunities he joined The Business Partnership knowing his skills and their backup will provide a first class service in helping both business owners and buyers achieve their goals.
