Maxwells is a well known bookshop occupying a superb trading position at the heart of the town centre in the ever-popular Peak District tourist market town of Bakewell. Established in 1998, the owners built an enviable reputable throughout the region for retail of books, greetings cards, gifts, stationery and children's educational toys.
The business was reluctantly placed onto the market with The Business Partnership to facilitate the retirement plans of the owners. Marketed through the Covid restrictions, we managed to identify several potential purchasers and settled on an experienced buyer with relevant experience.
