The Ghillies Kitchen, Inverness

After 20 years, Ghillies Kitchen founders and operators George and Mary Mackay are happy to announce their well-earned retirement. Ken Loades(Opens new window) of Highland Cater Hire, and formally Cru Holdings, is the proud new Director of this beloved Highland company. 

Gaining experience in kitchens all over the world, Ken worked with many styles of cuisine and chefs until 2003 when he joined Cru Holdings as Operations Director and helped develop the company from a single site to a multiple venue hospitality brand.

George and Mary will work closely with Ken now to transition the business from one local family to another.

Ghillies Kitchen will continue to offer high end catering for bespoke events, weddings and functions throughout the North of Scotland in partnership with local producers and suppliers.
