Cairn Houliston

Cairn is a Media and Communications graduate from Glasgow Caledonian University, where she is on course to graduate with First Class Honours. Her background spans PR, social media, and content marketing, with a particular focus on authentic storytelling and helping businesses communicate what makes them genuinely different.

Her interest in marketing began close to home – working on social media for her family’s business, where she saw first-hand how strong, considered communication could build real community and drive meaningful growth. That experience gave her an instinct for the human side of business marketing that has shaped everything since.

After moving to Glasgow, Cairn joined Clyde Bridge Centre during its launch phase, initially working alongside the PR Manager on brand and social media campaigns. From there she progressed to Social Media Manager and then Marketing Manager, taking ownership of campaigns, content strategy, and communications across the organisation. Alongside this, she has been developing her own marketing venture focused on authentic brand storytelling.

At Business Partnership, Cairn leads marketing activity across the organisation, from content and campaigns to brand consistency and communications. She brings a genuine curiosity about what makes each business tick, and a practical approach to telling those stories in a way that connects with the right people at the right time.
