Launched in 1973 and acquired by Aclaim Ltd in 2004, this well established business was acquired under a management buyout in 2015. The business was also profitable, achieving good profits over many years and an average of more than 45 per cent gross profit over the past three years.

Serving a diverse range of customers from sectors including metalworking, woodworking, construction, maintenance, agriculture and DIY, the business was also a member of a large independent buying group with a total buying power of some £80 million, which facilitates specialised purchases which otherwise could not be made.

Located in well-equipped premises within a small privately owned industrial estate with ample parking, the business had the option of further expansion on its current site. It also boasted a highly trained and dedicated workforce and had excellent stock and financial controls made possible by a specialist software package.
