Crackerjack Training are a long established provider of vocational training and activity needs to learners from the local community. The company has grown steadily over more than 20 years of trading and in the early stages gained a work-based learning contract to deliver apprenticeship training along with other educational needs. In 2021/22 the Company employed 19 full time staff, supported by part-time specialist tutors and advisors. There were approximately 190 learners on a range of programmes, with the majority (circa 57%) on apprenticeships.

The Company has made a significant impact on the local community by helping young people progress into sustainable employment opportunities, many from high deprivation or disadvantaged backgrounds. Recognising significant opportunity to grow their own organisation, Athena Beauty vocational training and activity needs to learners from the local community.

From inception, the business has grown steadily year on year, incorporating in 2004. Athena Beauty Academy provide beauty courses approved by the Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT); a specialist awarding and assessment organisation recognised by employers, governments and professional associations around the world. The Buyer recognised significant synergies with their own organisation and opportunities available in coming years for accelerated growth generated from the acquisition.
