A Wealth of Experience in Finance and Business Growth
Alex’s career began with Barclays Bank, where she worked across Merseyside, London, and Manchester in retail banking, training, and quality improvement roles. After taking time out to raise a family, she worked as a researcher and copywriter for the ‘Let’s Go with the Children’ guidebook, was bookkeeper for a children’s nursery and even had a short stint with McDonalds.
In 2005, Alex joined Business Partnership alongside her husband, Paul, where they have both remained ever since.
Beyond her professional work, Alex takes her skills into a couple of community projects. One is a community run shop and tea room in Antrobus, providing essential local services to those without easy access to town. She is also a dedicated supporter of food waste reduction, volunteering regularly at The Very Green Grocery in Northwich which redistributes surplus food that is otherwise destined for landfill.
When she can get Paul off the golf course, they practice Tai Chi together and take weekend breaks to meet up with family.
